Quantum Economics Proves Profit Motive and Social Good Are Intertwined

Adam Smith – the father of capitalism – would be very happy right now if he were able to read the intriguing and revolutionary new book by Dr. Amit Goswami, Quantum Economics: Unleashing the Power of an Economics of Consciousness. Indeed, Goswami resurrects Adam Smith and revitalizes capitalism in such a way as to pave the road to a world free from extreme economic booms and busts, the widening and debilitating gap between the superrich and poverty stricken, and a vanishing middle class that was supposed to grow under capitalism.
Make no mistake, Goswami heartily supports profit motive, but not just defined or restricted by the values of scientific materialism, or their lack thereof. Based on the principles of quantum physics and what he calls the Science of Consciousness, Goswami calls for the creation and/or expansion of subtle, vital energy products as well – those that enhance the processing of meaning (as opposed to mere information processing), feelings, intuition, and the foundational archetypes that drive fulfillment of our higher ethical and spiritual needs as well as the growth of human capital.
